Patient/Employee Portal

The Net Health Employee Health and Occupational Medicine Patient/Employee Portal provides the means for you to give patients direct, secure access to portions of their electronic health record, viewable at any time via the Internet. It can save your staff time by eliminating the need to call patients/employees to inform them of lab results that are only available after the visit. As soon as you enter results in Net Health Employee Health and Occupational Medicine the patient can look them up. It should also reduce the number of phone inquiries you receive about other information. In addition, the Patient/Employee portal can export this medical history to a standard file format, then import it into a Personal Health Record or take it to another provider that can import it into their system. (For purposes of clarification, an employee is essentially a "patient" with an Employee Health setting.)

The Patient/Employee Portal:

  • Securely views and prints test results.
  • Securely view and print lists of your allergies, immunizations, medications and medical issues.
  • Allows new appointments requests, a change, or a cancellation of an appointment.
    • Patient/employee submits an online appointment request.
    • Request is received by clinic staff in Net Health Employee Health and Occupational Medicine.
    • Clinic Staff schedules appointment for patient.
    • Clinic Staff notifies patient of scheduled appointment date, time and practitioner.
  • Provides the ability to create incident documentation.
  • Allows secure viewing and printing a list of your past appointments.
  • Helps you find information about your clinic this includes directions to the clinic using Google map.
  • Provides the ability to export information from the Portal to add to your Personal Health Record or share with another healthcare provider. The Patient/Employee Portal allows you to export the data contained in the My Results page to an ASTM Continuity of Care Record, or CCR for short, which can be imported into other systems, such as an electronic Personal Health Record (PHR), or another healthcare provider's system (provided that system can receive the data).
  • Uses Direct Email Messaging. This tab allows users the ability to use Direct Email Messaging from the Patient/Employee Portal. This type of messaging within the Patient/Employee Portal is a correspondence between the patient (or Authorized Representative) and the provider. Within Net Health Employee Health and Occupational Medicine, it is provider to provider. The use of Direct Messaging within the Patient/Employee Portal is to transmit Ambulatory and Clinical Summaries from the patient/employee.
